Genius is Pretty Stupid

I have been playing around with iTunes 8′s biggest feature: Genius, and have not been impressed. I know this will be much better later, but for now, it appears no work went into this at all. Here are some of the song recommendations it gave me, and my friends.
Song: Numb/Encore by Linkin Park
Recommendation: Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Song: Just Dance by Lady Gaga
Recommendation: Mountain Music by Alabama
Song: Jerk it Out by Caesar’s Palace
Recommendation: I Walk the Line by Johnny Cash

Works fine for me, I don’t know what you’re whinging about. Seems like you’ve just daisy picked some bad examples in an attempt to show what exactly?
Quit whinging, it’s free software. If you don’t like it use Windows Media Player instead

I love iTunes, and would never use anything else. I just wish they had fixed the genius feature at launch. There is no doubt in my mind it will rock in a year, but for now, eh…
