The Apocalypse is Coming

See here. Apple is finally updating their Cinema Displays, the first update since July 2004, at MacWorld 2009. This comes from arguably the most reliable source of them all, Macrumors. Apparently the new displays will become LED, and the reason that they haven’t seen an update for so long is how expensive LED is. Personally, I couldn’t care less about LED. While its nice, I’d rather have them not add LED and cut the price in half. Or add multi-touch. If I could select what I wanted on my new 30 inch display (which I’m in the market for), I’d have two possible configurations…
1. 30 inch, razor thin display, iSight Camera, 999.
2. 30 inch, razor thin display, iSight Camera, Multi-Touch, with a new ergonomic touch design, 1799.
Any Thoughts? What do you want to see in the new Apple Displays.
